Vandervest Harley-Davidson will host Cabin Fever Event Feb. 1
Vandervest Harley-Davidson of Green Bay, 1966 Velp Ave., will host its annual Cabin Fever Event on Saturday, Feb. 1, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will feature the Soup-R-Bowl Soup Cook-Off.
During the Souper-Bowl Soup Cook-Off, which will be held in Vandervest’s upstairs banquet facility – Olde 41 – from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., people can sample delicious soups and vote for the top three by purchasing taste tickets. Local professional and amateur soup makers were invited to participate in the cook-off. A Bloody Mary bar will also be available to patrons 21 and older.
The Cabin Fever Event will also include door prizes, music, a bake sale, and savings on Harley-Davidson licensed products.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Exceptional Equestrians of De Pere. The mission of Exceptional Equestrians is to provide programs to people with disabilities that are designed to improve cognitive, physical, emotional, and social well-being through hippotherapy, therapeutic riding, and Taking the Lead equine-assisted learning.
“This organization brings joy to so many people through the healing power of horses,” said Lynn Vandervest, one of the owners of Vandervest Harley-Davidson of Green Bay.
