Olde 41 Open House and Wedding Showcase set for March 27
Olde 41 Premier Banquet Facility, 1944 Velp Avenue, Green Bay, will host its first ever Open House and Wedding Showcase on Saturday, March 27, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
“Olde 41 Premier Banquet Facility – consisting of Olde 41 and its second venue, The Duck Blind – are the quintessential Green Bay venues for wedding celebrations, banquets, conferences, business meetings, Celebrations of Life, showers, fundraisers, holiday parties, and private events,” said Marnie Patton, Olde 41 Wedding Planner and Special Events Facility Coordinator.
Located on Duck Creek in the township of Howard, Olde 41 has been hosting events since 2012. “We believe we have one of the best event venues in the Green Bay area,” said Patton. “This event will allow us to showcase all that we offer.”
At Olde 41, located in the upper level of Vandervest Harley-Davidson of Green Bay, those offerings include a main banquet hall featuring a rustic wooden cathedral arched-beamed ceiling and hardwood floor space for dining and dancing; a reception room with wooden pub tables; a double-sided stone fireplace; round and long tables; an outdoor patio area overlooking the outdoor wedding ceremony site and Duck Creek; and a mezzanine overlooking the dealership showroom floor.
The Duck Blind, located right next to Olde 41 in a log-siding building, features rustic décor with barn beams, barn boards, galvanized metal finishings and antiques; a black granite bar with barn board décor; and an open concept allowing people to customize their events.
Both venues feature state-of-the-art audio systems, full-service bars, capabilities to host both indoor and outdoor wedding ceremonies, flexible seating accommodations, and flexibility to work with multiple vendor partners for event needs.
“Many of the vendors we work with will have booths at the Open House and Wedding Showcase,” said Patton. “This includes photographers, food vendors and caterers, officiants, florists, hotels, and our linen vendor who will be providing décor for the event.”
Olde 41 will have tables set up, including the head table and cake and gift tables, and florists will flower arrangements on these tables and fireplace mantels.
“We are excited to show all that our venues have to offer,” said Lynn Vandervest, Olde 41 owner. “We have continued to make Olde 41 and The Duck Blind to be some of the best event venues in this part of the state, and this event will allow people to see that.”
The bar will be open with complimentary mimosas. The event will be free to the public. More information is available at www.olde41.com or by calling 920-498-8822. Private event consultations are also available by filling out a form on the website.
